Before you visit
Check the address and opening hours, and ask what to bring for your transaction. Holiday hours may differ.
Protect your information
Do not send banking details or a Social Security number through unverified channels. Ask the branch how to provide any required information securely.
Send the question to the party that can act on it
| Your question | Responsible party | Where to find the relevant contact |
|---|---|---|
| Did my online request arrive, or how do I correct it? | The application form/service receiving the request | Its confirmation and privacy/contact disclosures |
| Was a loan approved or when will funds be sent? | The provider making that decision | The provider's own decision, offer or account communication |
| How do I repay, change payment details or discuss a missed payment? | The lender or servicer named in the agreement | The agreement or a verified servicing channel |
| Is a local office open, and what does it offer? | That listed business | Its exact location profile and independently confirmed contact |
| Is a website explanation or calculation wrong? | The website publisher | The website's correction route; identify the page and issue, not an account |
A physical office number may not be the correct contact for an online application or account. Use the contact information shown in the relevant confirmation, offer or agreement. S06
For a material consumer-finance issue that is not resolved through the appropriate provider, review the CFPB complaint service or Kentucky DFI complaint process, as appropriate to the product and regulator. Filing a complaint is not a guarantee of a particular outcome.
Keep account information out of general messages
Do not send Social Security numbers, full bank/card details, passwords or identity-document copies through a general website or location contact merely to ask a question. Use the provider's verified secure channel when it genuinely requires sensitive information.
For a content correction, the useful information is usually the page URL, the sentence or result in question, a short explanation and non-sensitive calculation inputs. For example, an assumed amount, rate and term are enough to reproduce a payment example; your bank account number is not.
Read the Privacy Policy and Corrections Policy before sending a message. Do not send a full application or loan agreement containing personal details as an initial content-error report.
